Scriptwriters

For the scriptwriters, Don FREEMAN was the first one. He has participated in the adventures of Garth from 1943 to 1952.
21 scripts to his credit.
Then, a short interlude year 1952/1953 for Hugh Mc CELLAND, just one story « invasion from space », followed by the famous Peter O’DONNEL (1920/2010), (the author of Modesty Blaise) from 1953 to 1966, 13 years on this title, so 28 stories.
Then we had the long period Jim EDGAR (1919/2001) from 1966 to 1992, holding the record of longevity on the character for a duration of 26 years.
After that in 1993, there was the return of Peter O’DONNEL for only one story « return to static zone » (see the paper of HOP74in french).
Then, with the ASBURY period as the draftman a few scriptwriters have made sporadic appearances like for example: Angus Peter ALLAN (1936/2007), Tim QUINN, Philip HARBOTTLE(born in 1941), James TOMLINSON and Peter TRANTER, Ken ROSCOE and even Martin ASBURY who will continue alone (drawings et scripts) from 1994 to 1997, as shown at his  work table downhere at right.

unfortunately I have not found all the photos of the scriptwriters who have worked on Garth’s fate.

On several sites, it has been mentioned the great american writer Harry Harrison on a few stories such as "The Islands of KAA".
