Preparatory work
Garth has always been my favorite hero since 1970 when I discovered him.
For more than 30 years I have written many times to the Daily Mirror to have Steve Dowling's Garth period, John Allard reissued in comic books with stripes assembled, I have had no answer from them.
Instead they prefer to edit again in color the stories of Frank Bellamy and Martin Asbury. What a pity! After 70 years, Garth had fallen into the public domain, at least that period.
Therefore I decided 20 years ago to start this long work of finding the Garth editions from different countries, scanning them, cutting the strips, cleaning them, assembling them, putting them straight, creating a margin, creating front and back covers, coloring images, in such a huge personal work.
This is why I am from now in position to propose you my personal edition about Garth stories. More to come if the request is there. Garth has a lot of stories unknown from many fans.
